The IUMAA provides opportunities for IU graduate students to gain in-deph, hands-on experience in museum work through paid Graduate Assistantships. The next application deadline will be announced in Spring 2024.

The IU Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (IUMAA) offers research fellowships for graduate students of Indiana University. These fellowships aid research for dissertation, thesis, or related projects that make use of the IUMAA collections and resources, and/or contribute to archaeology, ethnohistory, or related subjects.
IUMAA invites Native American applications for a summer fellowship in museum studies, curation, exhibition, or museum management. This fellowship is open to all Native peoples from anywhere in North America, although preference will be given to college students. The next deadline for applications will be announced in Spring 2024.
