The Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology strives to make our collections, library, and archives accessible to source and descendant communities as well as available for research that advances the study of human culture. Anyone may submit a request to gain access to a specific resource in the collections we steward.

Please allow up to two weeks for IUMAA staff to review and reply to your initial request. Final approval could take up to two months or more depending on required external review and authorization, e.g. the IU NAGPRA Office, community consultations for sensitive materials, etc.
